We're excited to reveal the PUMA RS-G Golf Shoes which are based on a modern sneaker icon, reimagined for the golf course.
PUMA RS-G Golf Shoes | 2021
This Summer will see more colours arriving for one of the hottest golf shoe styles in the game; the PUMA RS-G.
Next up, it's the Quarry Grey x Castlerock x Yellow colour combination - ready to drop at 08:00 BST on Friday 4th June 2021.
This new colour adds to the White x Black x Red Blast which dropped in May.
It's based on an existing running sneaker from the PUMA family - the PUMA RS-X3 - embracing the fashionable "chunky" trend which has taken the sneaker world by storm in recent years.
For those unawares, the acronym RS stands for "Running System" - originally launched by PUMA back in 1986. It delivered some seriously high performance which was very much considered as "state-of-the-art" at the time.
This innovative, advanced cushioning technology combined with a padded collar and a lightweight leather upper to provide heightened levels of comfort while also vastly improving stability - perfect for running enthusiasts.
Even more futuristic technologies were introduced further down the line, something that was often reflected through the styling of the silhouette as a whole.
As we know, PUMA are a brand who often look to their rich heritage to inspire their new designs.
They reintroduced the RS series back in 2018; stripped back and rebuilt with advanced materials and modern technologies to meet the demands of today's sneaker market.
And now, at long last, the RS franchise is making its way into the world of golf footwear for the very first time.
The PUMA RS-G golf shoes take every aspect of the game into consideration along with lifestyle silhouettes to conquer the course in true RS style.
The microfibre leather upper is seam sealed to provide reliable waterproof performance, while the TPU skin overlay is another feature which makes them easy to keep clean.
The Fusion Foam midsole provides high energy return for an extremely comfortable ride, while the Soft Foam sockliner further enhances the comfort levels under foot.
A locked down feel is provided through the structure of the upper, while the chunky design will also provide support through the swing.
The spikeless outsole utilises exaggerated and pronounced carbon rubber lugs for optimal traction on the course, complete with a rubberised finish for a soft and comfortable wear on harder surfaces.
We firmly believe that the footwear designers at PUMA Golf have executed this reimagining of the PUMA RS-X3 to perfection - striking the perfect balance of on course performance with off course style and comfort.
It's a style so good that we fully anticipate some non-golfers to be picking up a pair for their own sneaker collection this Summer.
On top of the three in-line colours which have carried through to 2021, you will soon find even more seasonal variations of the PUMA RS-G golf shoes arriving online at Golfposer.
Other limited edition versions of the PUMA RS-G golf shoes will arrive - including the "Botanical" style which perfectly completes Rickie Fowler's look for Spring Break 2021.
