The full collection of Puma Golf Shoes for AW12 is now available online and we take a closer look at the new styles - including the Usain Bolt inspired Faas range!

Puma is a brand with such rich history, heritage and experience within the world of sports and lifestyle footwear that it is hard to look anywhere else for a new pair of golf shoes. The design team at Puma are one of the best in the business and once again they have excelled in creating a fantastic range of footwear for every golfer - from keen amateurs to the top professionals. For many years, we have championed the style and comfort that Puma Golf Shoes provide but for this Autumn/Winter 2012 season the quality of the shoe collection has increased once again - which we know is hard to believe!

Rickie Fowler and Johan Edfors have long been the leading players on tour to wear Puma Golf shoes, but back in January Puma signed a deal with the flamboyant and exciting Ian Poulter (after Puma's merger with Cobra Golf) to wear brand new styles of Puma Golf shoes and belts! Ian has since worked closely with the designers at Puma to create his own style of golf shoe - the Neo Classic ProType - which is packed full with excellent Puma technology as outlined in our previous blog here! We simply love the look of the brogue style Puma Formstripe and these golf shoes by Ian Poulter perform exceedingly well too - with a 2 year waterproof warranty included!

For this great Olympic year of 2012, Puma have taken inspiration from one of the most popular athletes in the world and created a line of golf shoes known as the 'Faas Collection'. Taking the needs of the world's fastest man and double Olympic champion Usain Bolt, and those of Puma's other highly popular athlete - Rickie Fowler - Puma's shoe experts have created a few excellent styles of golf shoe which combine flexibility, durability and traction superbly. The Faas Trac shoe design is based on a lightweight running trainer and this concept integrates very well with technology such as IDCell and Everfoam cushioning to give you a very personal and comfortable fit. Also featuring a TPU shank for reinforcement, close to the ground S²Quill spikes for traction and a shock absorbing mid-sole - these Faas Trac golf shoes are incredibly comfortable and durable yet so lightweight at the same time. These Usain Bolt inspired golf shoes also come with 'Force 3' Storm Cell technology (1 year waterproof warranty) with seam sealing and enhanced protection in the most vulnerable areas.

Spikeless golf shoes were, at one point, the 'next big thing' in golf but the concept is now well and truly here to stay with a spikeless style included in the Faas collection by Puma - available from Golfposer in three colours! The Faas Grip golf shoes have excellent flexibility for 360° movement and the spikeless sole is made with very durable rubber and the upper features Storm Cell Force 3 grade synthetic leather - again with a one year waterproof warranty. With much of the same technology as the Faas Trac, these shoes are also incredibly lightweight, comfortable and durable for wearing both on and off the course this AW12 season.

The Cell Fusion has been an integral part of the Puma Golf collection for many seasons and there are now four variations of this classic design within the AW12 range. The Super Cell Fusion, Ice, Ice G and Pro 3 styles all largely have the same brilliant technology and magnificently high level of performance - with the only major differences appearing in the aesthetics of the shoes. The Cell Fusion range is once again brimming with technological features such as a decoupled heel and toe construction for swing phase flexibility, additional flex grooves, an ArchTec supporting midsole, additional LDCell cushioning and also an S²C Pro Chassis for stability and balance. Finished with a luxurious full grain leather upper which is fully waterproof (2 year warranty) and breathable along with S²Quill spikes for excellent traction and grip with every shot - the Cell Fusion is the ultimate golf shoe and will look great in whichever style you choose this season!
