Galvin Green Ventil8 Review - First Impressions
What was your perception of the Galvin Green brand and their products prior to being chosen as GP Test Pilots?
We both thought Galvin Green produced some really nice looking clothing, but perhaps outwith our price range.
Upon receiving both of your Ventil8 outfits (shirt & trousers) – what were your initial impressions?
We both thought that the outfits were very smart looking and felt like great quality. The Nash trousers were particularly impressive.
Did you like the styling of the Ventil8 shirt/pants combination?
Very much so. One of us wore the red/black combination and the other had the black/steel grey and both looked really stylish, we even got a few compliments!
How was the fit on both of your garments?
The shirt was a good fit, true to size, while the trousers were perfect for both of us. The Nash have a regular fit but definitely don't look baggy or loose through the legs.
Galvin Green Ventil8 Review - Wear Test
How did you find the comfort levels?
We both thought they were exceptional and would argue the trousers are the best we've ever worn. The shirt was unrestricting and comfortable to wear all round, even in 30°C heat.
When wearing your Ventil8 products, how did they feel in terms of breathability? Could you feel any excess moisture on the inside of the fabric during performance?
Thinking about it now - no there wasn't. You don't realise at the time but that's the beauty of the moisture wicking Ventil8 fabrics!
How often have you been wearing your outfits and in what conditions?
We've both worn them quite often because of the comfort factor, especially on the warm summer days. The shirt is lightweight and keeps you cool, while the trousers actually bead off water whenever a light rain shower passed. We were both very impressed.
Galvin Green Ventil8 Review - Conclusions
Would you recommend Galvin Green products to fellow golfers?
We both agree that we definitely would now, yes. They are of superior quality and seem well worth the money - despite our previous perceptions. I have since purchased many more items from Golfposer, so it's a big thumbs up from me (Andy)!
Any further comments to add?
The current AW16 range is good with some great looking styles, but we would like to see some more colour options in there - especially some more green. Otherwise, we were both delighted to become GP Test Pilots so thank you to the team once again!
