World Tour Championship - Dubai Style Guide 2014
Posted at November 23, 2014
The European Tour season came to a close in Dubai today and it was Henrik Stenson who secured the DP World Tour Championship for the second time! Here are some of the best looks worn throughout the week.
Henrik Stenson put in a near flawless performance in Dubai to retain the DP World Tour Championship and also secure second place in the Race to Dubai money list. Back-to-back birdies over the final two holes ensured victory, where Henrik wore the Paddy Pro 2 shirt from Hugo Boss as well as the classic Paddy Pro in green (new shade for PS15 below).
He didn't have to win this week as the Race to Dubai title was already confirmed, but that didn't stop him trying his utmost. A tie for second will round off 2014 nicely for the world number one, but what may be more concerning for his rivals is that Rory claimed it was his 'C-game' he brought to Dubai! Keep an eye out for the Nike Lunar Control III shoes coming in 2015, they are something quite special.
A resurgent Rafa Cabrera-Bello put in a great performance all week in Dubai and played with Henrik Stenson in the final group on sunday, but successive double bogeys at the 16th and 17th holes squandered any chance of the victory. The classic Oakley Elemental shirt featured too, finished in 'Jester Red' for AW14.
Danish star Thorbjorn Olesen maintained his strong start in Dubai and finished in a tie for twelfth, but it was the afore-mentioned Nike Lunar Control III shoes which caught our eye!
Martin Kaymer picked up the European Tour golfer of the month award back in June and was wearing the popular Paddy MK 1 golf shirt in 'Poinciana' orange. Perhaps the MK Martin Kaymer collection will be joined by a Henrik Stenson x Hugo Boss collection soon enough, as we have been suggesting for years!
