The BMW PGA Championship starts tomorrow with a very exciting field and even better weather on the cards; here is a short preview of the weekend ahead!
It's the European Tour's flagship event this week and the only one to take place in England (except from the Open) and we can't wait! The 7,302 yard par 72 course at the Wentworth Club in Surrey will hopefully be basking in glorious sunshine all weekend and the good weather should provide some exciting golf! Ernie Els is also hoping to have quietened down his previous critics from two years ago with some alterations to the course layout - as the 12th is now a par five; a bank from the front of the 15th green has been removed and the last two holes made a little more forgiving.
The field itself is incredibly strong - perhaps the best so far this year with numbers 1, 2 and 3 in the world; 10 former Championship winners; 12 current season winners; 15 previous Major champions and 110 European Tour winners! If you haven't heard already - Golfposer are giving you the chance to predict the eventual 2012 winner to win yourself a Golfposer White Tour Bag and an exclusive fourball from our partners at Kingsfield Golf! Follow this link for further details!
Hugo Boss are official sponsors of the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth and you will see this top quality designer brand spread everywhere this weekend from course marshalls and support staff right through to players such as Martin Kaymer, Alex Noren and Tom Lewis (who was just crowned European Tour Rookie of the Year last night)! Hugo Boss have sponsored the 'fifth major championship' since 2008 and have generously invited Golfposer down to enjoy the weekend with them!
The Hugo Boss Green collection has been extremely popular this season and a real favourite amongst the Golfposer team! Their designer golf appararel is the best around and we stock a substantial range of Tour Golf Shirts, Hugo Boss Knitwear, Boss Trousers and Outerwear too. Not only have we brought you the Golfposer Wentworth prediction competition but for this weekend only you can take an exclusive 10% off all Hugo Boss golfwear!
