US Masters 2014 Highlights Sunday

In the last of our US Masters style series, we pick out our favourite outfits from the final round which saw Bubba Watson win a second Green Jacket!

The Good

Bubba Watson, Oakley Golf

It would be rude not to begin with the newly crowned US Masters champion, wearing the Oakley Delta golf shirt for SS14. Bubba Watson used all of his experience to fend off competition from Jordan Spieth and Jonas Blixt to secure his second Green Jacket at Augusta. It wasn't a classic, but entertaining none-the-less as it always is when Bubba is around!

Jonas Blixt, Puma Golf

A special mention for Sweden's new superstar, Jonas Blixt. The Puma Golf star was in contention from the very beginning and is proving to be a real Major stalwart, having now finished T4 and T2 in his only two major championships. Discount this stylish Swede for future major success at your peril!

Rickie Fowler, Puma Golf

We all knew it was coming - the traditional Rickie Fowler Sunday Orange outfit from Puma Golf. It never gets old, though, and we're just happy that he gave himself the chance to wear it at Augusta this week! An excellent T6 finish for the colourful Californian.

Martin Kaymer, Hugo Boss

We love this shirt from the Summer Hugo Boss Golf collection. An update of the Paddy Pro 2 in bright green and styled well with white trousers here by Martin Kaymer!

Jason Day, Adidas Golf

An all-white number for Jason Day on Masters Sunday - a difficult look to pull off but we think he manages it with ease. Adidas always like to try something a little bit different with their major player scripts (not always with success) and this year saw each Adidas Staffer wear the same shirt in a different colour for each day of the championship - quite a nice idea but one which was also adopted by Nike (see below).

Rory McIlroy, Nike Golf

Nike blew Adidas out of the water with their Masters strategy this year - with Rory McIlroy wearing a very iconic shirt on each of the four days in the knowledge that he would get some TV coverage regardless of his performance. A little note for Andrew Coltart, too, who was clearly bidding to play with Rory over the weekend with his outfits on Sky Sports Masters breakfast!

Fred Couples, Ecco Golf Shoes

Fred Couples plays the crowd at Augusta and also put in a respectable performance wearing his Ecco Biom Hybrid golf shoes!

Jordan Spieth, UA

Jordan Spieth just ran out of birdie fuel in his final round but will surely be back again in the coming years. This young American is only 20 years of age and led off the final US Masters pair; what were you doing at age 20? We like this kid, and we like his outfit choices too.

Caleb GAP?

Last but not least, our US Masters 'most stylish' of the week goes to Caleb Watson! The youngster fought off strong competition from the likes of Thorbjorn Olesen and Miguel Angel Jiminez, but he stole the coveted accolade with his appearance on the 18th green on Masters Sunday. "Move over, Dad, this is my moment".

The Bad

Matt Kuchar

If we had an 'unsure' outfit category, Matt Kuchar would definitely be included. Unfortunately his mint green and beige combination tipped over into the 'bad' category by his unmatching belt and cap!

Adam Scott

White top, black trousers. A bit boring from Adam Scott. Perhaps we can excuse him for playing it safe since he knew he would at least be presenting the winner with their new Green Jacket - if not winning it himself.

Lee Westwood

Ah, our comedy style villain makes an appearance once again. The only thing wrong with Lee Westwood's shirt? It's not pink. We came across a witty Twitter user who likened Lee's outfits for the Masters to a set of those classic Stabilo highlighters you used to use at school. Purple, of course, is not one of the colours available and so Lee gets marked down for failing to complete the set!
