US Masters 2014: Friday Golf Outfits

Our US Masters Style Blog features our favourite outfits from Friday at Augusta National, where Bubba Watson roared into a three-stroke lead.

The Good

Rickie Fowler, Puma Golf

Friday-1.jpg

Rickie Fowler was leading the way in terms of style with his Beetroot Pink Puma Golf shirt and BioFusion golf shoes, as picked up on by Butch Harmon last night! It certainly seemed to be Pink Friday at the Masters, as you are about to find out...

Martin Kaymer, Hugo Boss

Friday-7.jpg

Martin Kaymer is a great ambassador for Hugo Boss, simply because he can pull off any look even if he isn't playing too well. This Paddy MK golf shirt features the new pastel pink colour way and looks great matched with the white Hugo Boss trousers - perhaps the most popular combination at Augusta yesterday!

Henrik Stenson, Hugo Boss

Friday-3.jpg

Henrik Stenson could have become world number one with a victory at the US Masters and he's at least made the cut at (+1) for the tournament. Henrik is another style icon who wears Hugo Boss and also opted for a pink number on Friday!

Sergio Garcia, Adidas Golf

Friday-5.jpg

Sergio Garcia was hotly tipped by many for success at Augusta this week but he has not quite reached the form he has displayed so far this season. On Masters Friday, Sergio matched Rickie Fowler in wearing pink and white, only switched with Bahia Magenta Adidas trousers and his chosen style of Adidas polo shirt!

Bubba Watson, Oakley Golf

Friday-14.jpg

Bubba Watson heads the field at the US Masters with a three-shot lead going into the third round. Wearing the Oakley Lyons polo shirt for SS14, his second round was helped massively by a run of five straight birdies, including an incredible putt at the 14th which you can watch here!

Thorbjorn Olesen, Nike Golf

Friday-10.jpg

We love this image of Nike Golf athlete Thorbjorn Olesen from Friday at the US Masters, striking a mirror image pose of his official Nike photo shoot as seen below! The young dane wears the new Nike Ultra 2.0 golf shirt in Venom Green.

Graham DeLaet, Puma Golf

Friday-2.jpg

We regrettably had to include Graham in the 'Bad' section of Thursday's highlights, but he won us over and proved why he is rivalling Rickie Fowler for Puma's most stylish yesterday! The roadmap shirt features a lot of detail and we love this outfit as a whole - matched with DeLaet's perfect beard of course.

Jonas Blixt, Puma Golf

Friday-8.jpg

Jonas Blixt has surprised everyone at Augusta this week and currently sits T3, three shots under par. Jonas wore the same lime green colour way which Rickie Fowler wore on Thursday and we can't wait to see how Jonas fairs this Masters weekend!

Jason Day, Adidas Golf

Friday-4.jpg

Jason Day made the US Masters cut, but only just. He was fancied by many to follow up his previous strong Masters finishes with a victory in 2014 but unfortunately the Australian hasn't quite met the expectation. He does look good in this Adidas golf shirt, though.

Fred Couples, Ecco Golf

Friday-11.jpg

Not the greatest outfit, by any stretch of the imagination, but we love this image of Freddie Couples showing off his dancing shoes - the Ecco Biom Hybrid shoes in white/Masters Green!

Rory McIlroy, Nike Golf

Friday-13.jpg

Rory has left many punters disappointed this week, that is for sure. He managed to squeeze himself into the weekend after a poor round on Friday and will in fact tee off all alone as the first man out on Saturday. That will certainly be a strange experience for the two time Major winner, who wore the Nike Lightweight Innovation shirt in grey/black.

Adam Scott, 2013 Champion

Friday-9.jpg

Nice outfit, Adam. We also like the colour co-ordination with the belly putter. It's a shame you will need to find a replacement pretty soon!

The Bad

Lee Westwood

Friday-6.jpg

Only one outfit caught our eye for all the wrong reasons on Friday at the US Masters. Sorry (again) Lee, we just don't get it. Luminous yellow Thursday, luminous green Friday. Even if you did get dressed in the dark, you would have still known that you were putting these shirts on!
