Puma Golf AW15 Collection - New Styles
To coincide with our recent competition launch, we thought to walk you through some of the key styles from the latest Puma Golf AW15 collection.
Puma Golf AW15 - Key Shirts
We have already seen the likes of Rickie Fowler, Graham DeLaet and Jonas Blixt wearing the Puma Golf AW15 collection on tour and thus helping to indicate some of the key styles of the season. The Road Map shirt very much features across the AW15 campaign imagery and looks incredibly sharp across all three colour combinations, whilst the Diamond Block shirt has proven to be a favourite amongst Puma customers already. The Dot Fade offers a modern look with the polka-print at the chest, whilst the GT Check Stripe shirt is the same which was worn by Rickie when he landed a walk-off hole in one earlier at the Quicken Loans National.
The Titan Stripe (graphic) shirt is fresh, whilst the Blocked golf shirt adheres to the current trend of switching colours from front to back. Speaking of switching colours, we did notice a strange occurrence during the afore mentioned first round in Virginia when Rickie Fowler appeared to swap shirts mid-round. The reasons are unclear as of yet - was it a new Puma marketing ploy? Or maybe Rickie was saving his Blur Stripe shirt to create another of those Golf Boys videos? A Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" spoof, perhaps?
Puma Golf AW15 - Online Exclusives
There's always something to get excited about with a new Puma Golf collection and for AW15 we see the arrival of numerous online exclusive styles across new shirts, golf shorts and Puma footwear. UK exclusives have become something of a 'thing' for us in recent years and the Puma Golf AW15 exclusives come as a result of our continued dedication and belief in the brand.
In terms of shirts - it's the iconic Blur Stripe shirt which leads the way with no short of three exclusive colour options including Della Robbia Blue, Clearwater and the Fowler-inspired Vibrant Orange colour way. The GT Graphic shirt is another exclusive style, the same one which features in the much-shared Rickie x Zurich International video, whilst the aptly named 'Back Print' polo shirt offers something a little more reserved to the selection.
The Puma Golf AW15 exclusive range also now includes two selected colours of the popular Puma Tech shorts (Tango Red and Della Robbia Blue) - whilst the Peacoat/Red/White Titan Tour golf shoes which we introduced for the US Open are another UK exclusive for this season.
Puma Golf AW15 - PWRWARM Outerwear
PWRWARM is the new concept which features throughout the Puma Golf AW15 range - offering increased levels of warmth and comfort via a special internal print on the fabrication. The print is utilised across the knitwear and outerwear selection and will also be the focus of a later Test Pilot review - stay tuned for that eMag article later in the season.
Puma Golf AW15 - PGA Scripts
The Open Championship fell a little bit flat in terms of style as we all know - no thanks to the weather on that one. Puma will very much be hoping for better conditions in Milwaukee for the PGA Championship at Whistling Straits in order to showcase some of their best-looking outfits from the AW15 collection: day one sees Rickie wearing Cloisonné blue (pronounced claw-swan-ay bloo) Blur Stripe shirt before the Road Map in black on the Friday of the championship - whilst Saturday and Sunday offers the Dot Fade in Sodalite and the orange Titan Stripe respectively.
