Nike ACG Inspired Golf Shoes - Infinity Tour Shield 2021

We're excited to reveal the next edition of the Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield golf shoes - this time taking inspiration from the iconic Nike ACG Mowabb sneaker designed by Tinker Hatfield.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Nike ACG Air Mowabb sneaker being released - an iconic style which made its return to the sneaker world just a few months ago.

A famous style for many reasons, the Nike Air Mowabb was the brainchild of ACG (all conditions gear) expert Tinker Hatfield - now more famous for his Air Max & Air Jordan sneaker silhouettes.

It was one of the first to combine Nike's most advanced technologies with an outdoor silhouette and, in Tinker's own words, the Nike ACG Air Mowabb was a "crazy design" which was "a shoe for people in the know; people who were interested in unique things".

In essence, it was a crossover between the Nike Huarache and the Nike Wildwood sneaker silhouettes - while it was also the first Nike sneaker to feature a speckled midsole.

The OG "Rattan Birch" colour is one of the most instantly recognisable outdoor sneakers in the world and so we're extremely excited to see the combination arriving into the world of golf footwear for the first time.

Keen winter golfers will fondly remember the first Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield golf shoes which launched last year.

They are a winterized version of Nike's hugely popular Infinity Tour silhouette - a style which continues to be worn on tour by Brooks Koepka - newly updated to provide more performance in cold & wet conditions.

Some of the newly added elements to combat against harsh winter conditions include the waterproof overlay atop the lightweight & flexible upper - thus helping to keep water out and make life easier when it comes to keeping your shoes clean.

A rubberised mudguard forms another barrier between you and the elements, while a two year waterpoof warranty provides peace of mind.

Two locking, ergonomically shaped zippers at either side provide a reliable fit with ultra high levels of comfort - combining well with the external heel counter for stability through the swing in any conditions.

Finally, a stretchy mid-top bootie and bungee closure replaces a traditional lace up design for convenience - perfect for fastening with gloved hands.

Other design features which are carried over from the original Air Zoom Infinity Tour include: the flexible upper for a locked down fit and reduced in-shoe movement; React midsole cushioning for a smooth ride; innovative traction with green friendly piston spikes; the Zoom Strobel full length airbag unit stitched into the upper along with three additional Air Zoom units positioned below each cleat.

The Nike acronym ACG stands for "All Conditions Gear" and that is simply the perfect description for the Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour Shield golf shoes.
