PGA Championship 2014 - Player Outfits Friday

Familiar faces dominate the top of the leaderboard after round two of the PGA Championship, but here are the faces that we thought stood out at Valhalla yesterday!

Rickie Fowler: Puma

Many picked Rickie Fowler out as their dark-horse for the PGA Championship this week and he is certainly justifying his backers this week. The only man to have finished in the top five at all of the 2014 majors, Rickie is in the hunt once more at (-7) which is good enough for T4 and just two strokes off the lead. We also think he looks in pretty great shape right now, too, wearing the new Puma range effortlessly. This shirt, the Pattern Print, is a stand-out style from the range and matches perfectly with white pants as Rickie showed yesterday!

Graham DeLaet: Puma

Graham DeLaet is another Puma star who is turning heads at Valhalla. The man with the wonderful beard certainly looks the part wearing the same shirt Rickie was wearing in Turbulence grey and he's fairing pretty well on the course, too. GDL currently sits T9 after two solid opening rounds at the PGA Championship!

Thorbjorn Olesen: Nike

The PGA Championship looks like it might turn into another victory parade for Rory McIlroy, who currently leads by one, but we weren't bowled over by his grey/black Nike outfit yesterday. Instead, Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen wore a Camo printed shirt in grey/pink from Nike which is one of our top picks from the collection!

Henrik Stenson: Hugo Boss

Henrik Stenson is on the prowl at a major championship once more and will be hoping for a strong third round to leave himself in contention come Sunday. He wears the Hugo Boss brand incredibly well, we all know that, but it's just a shame he hasn't had his delivery of Fall 2014 shirts as of yet!

Mikko Ilonen: Hugo Boss

Mikko Ilonen is in the exact same boat as Henrik Stenson. Playing extremely well, looking even better, but wearing a shirt which comes from the Hugo Boss Summer collection! Cue repeated requests for these old-season shirts and a headache for our team in customer services!

Martin Kaymer: Hugo Boss

Martin Kaymer, on the other hand, is right up to date with his outfits. The Paddy MK is a great looking shirt with a vertical contrast stripe featured down the rear, one of the best MK shirts we have seen for a while!

Jason Day: Adidas

Maybe not worth a huge mention for the Adidas outfit, arguable a bit bland, but Jason Day posted the lowest round of the day on Friday and so at least deserves some recognition. He consistently shows up on the big occasions - but does he have enough in him to halt the juggernaut that is Rory McIlroy?

Luke Donald: RLX Ralph Lauren

Luke Donald isn't necessarily known for his elaborate style, but we loved this orange/navy RLX combination from yesterday. The official orange colour name is 'Bittersweet' and we can't get enough of it this season!

What to Look Out For:

Rickie Fowler: Puma - SATURDAY

We reckon Rickie Fowler is due to post another low round today to get himself into contention on Sunday - and this will be the outfit he wears in doing so. Watch out for the Raglan Graphic shirt plastered all over your television screens this evening!

Billy Horschel: RLX Ralph Lauren - SUNDAY

Billy Horschel is going strong this week and on Sunday, he is scripted to wear a subtle outfit containing the above printed trousers from RLX. You will remember when he wore the Serpent printed trousers at the Open Championship which received a mixed reception online - so Billy is going all out this Sunday at Valhalla with the brand new Camofrog print pants!

Rory McIlroy: Nike - SUNDAY

We weren't big supporters of his Friday outfit, but he can't the the best at everything. Sunday however, features a cracking Nike outfit and one which we must all expect him to be seen wearing whilst lifting the spectacular Wanamaker trophy. It's almost as though rest of the field have to grip the reigns as tight as possible and just hope Rory stumbles somewhere down the line - which seems increasingly unlikely these days!
