Henrik Stenson Wins!

Henrik Stenson wins the 2013 Deutsche Bank Championship to lead the Fed-Ex Playoffs!

Henrik Stenson finally completed the comeback of all comebacks by winning the Deutsche Bank Championship on Labour Day out in Boston having done everything except find a victory on the PGA Tour this year. Consistency is the key to success in the Fed Ex Cup and the achievements of Henrik Stenson this year have been quite spectacular, despite a shortage of titles to match. Affectionately known as Mr. Hugo Boss, the Swedish star finished T21, T18, outright 2nd and outright 3rd at the respective four majors this year, alongside a T5 finish at the Players Championship in May. Throw in another couple of top ten finishes on the European Tour and you can understand why he is leading both the Fed-Ex Cup and the Race to Dubai!

Finding only one bunker all week in Boston (even from which he holed out), Stenson's stunning golf is not the only thing which has raised eyebrows this year. Henrik has also gained much respect from across the world of golf after enduring a tough few years in relation to his personal life, which drastically affected his game as he fell as far as no. 206 in the world in 2012. The comeback we have all witnessed this year is testament to Henrik's attitude and the two shot victory at the Deutsche Bank Championship was thoroughly deserved and also long overdue. Let's hope he can continue this great run of form and be in with a chance of winning the 2013 Fed-Ex Cup itself!
