Golfposer Test Pilot - Puma Titan Tour Shoes

The first ever GP Test Pilot took the Puma Titan Tour shoes to Dubai - find out how they fared!

In a brand new initiative launched last month, Golfposer are inviting our loyal customers to become an official GP Test Pilot with some important 'missions' to test the latest and greatest products from our brands. After the first, well-received Facebook and Twitter campaign ended last month, Martin Stein was the lucky entrant and recently took his fresh new pair of Titan Tour golf shoes for a week-long trip to Dubai!

Dubai is renowned for its gloriously high temperatures and stunning golf courses to boot and it would prove to be the perfect location to test the innovative, NASA developed 'Outlast' technology - an internal material which claims to keep your feet as cool as possible. So, over to Martin, who played all of the Dubai Creek, Jumeirah Earth, Jumeirah Fire, Emirates (European Tour course), Majlis and the YAS Links courses. Not a bad run stretch to test the Titan Tour shoes, but how did they fare?

"The Titan Tour golf shoes were great. I couldn't ask for much more - my feet were kept cool in the very hot weather and I would totally recommend these to anyone. In truth, I do love my usual Ecco shoes but they simply don't keep you as cool as these. I was intrigued to see how they would live up to all of the promises but they were just spot on. I even just wore them straight from the box without having to break them in. What a treat and thanks to team GP!"

Whilst playing in Dubai is probably not something the average player does every weekend, we all know how uncomfortable our feet can feel even playing during the summer months in the UK; this thorough test proved that the Puma Titan Tour Outlast technology more than lives up to the expectations. According to Puma, this "increases comfort and regulates temperature by utilising phase change technology materials that absorb, store and release heat for optimal thermal comfort. Reduces perspiration by as much as 44%." The wider feedback from the industry has regularly cited the comfort, aesthetic appeal and superb traction capabilities as being the key benefits and we find it difficult to argue with that, as does Martin!
