Tommy Fleetwood
Tommy Fleetwood is an English golfer from Southport, known for his precise iron play, flowing swing and memorable performances for Europe in the Ryder Cup. His relaxed manner makes him easy to warm to, but there’s serious competitive quality behind it. A winner on the DP World Tour and a Race to Dubai champion, Fleetwood has built a reputation for golf that rewards watching closely, particularly when he’s shaping an approach towards the flag.
Team golf has provided some of his standout moments. His partnership with Francesco Molinari produced four wins from four matches on his Ryder Cup debut, earning the pair the nickname “Moliwood”. It’s a good introduction to Fleetwood’s appeal: an accomplished individual player who clearly relishes being part of something bigger. Add his distinctive long hair and approachable personality, and you have a golfer who’s easy to recognise and enjoy following.
