Nicolai Hojgaard
Nicolai Højgaard is a Danish golfer whose powerful game has earned him a DP World Tour Championship title and a place on a winning European Ryder Cup team. He is also the identical twin of fellow professional Rasmus, making theirs one of golf's most recognisable family stories. Both helped Denmark win the World Amateur Team Championship before building their individual professional careers.
Nicolai's victory in Dubai is a useful example of his ability to score against a strong field when the stakes are high. Long driving gives him opportunities, but converting them requires the approach play and composure to finish a round. The family connection is an easy introduction; his own results explain why he's worth knowing. adidas golf clothing and footwear complete his sporting on-course appearance.
